For this time, we are proud to present you 10 brand new works created this year by the artist, we encourage the collectors to come and see in person.
In this solo exhibition, "Blossoming Friendship", Socko's paintings transfer us to a fantasy world of childhood, an essential part of growing up. Paired with the character, Dough, and his companion, Sunny, brilliant colours, evocative figures, and soulful compositions express the longing for companionship and tenderness. Enraptured into an alternate realm guided by visions of emotions lived within us all - love, joy, yearning - as they emerge onto canvas in vivid surroundings.
Featuring metaphorical scenes in dazzling colours, moments of intimacy or familiarity create new stories and features. The duo take us from one fantastical world to the next - allowing us to observe their comradery with kindness like never before. Often forgetting how interconnected we are, Socko's paintings invite us to remind us of how magnificently we become each other's stories.
