Maison Ozmen is pleased to present you our exclusive online VR solo show of Japanese artist Ryuji Kamiyama (b. 1972). In this occasion, we are proudly presenting you 15 newly created acrylic paintings by the artist. We do hope those works can add color to your holiday season.
Kamiyama was born in 1972 in Tokyo. His frequent use of neon colors comes from his own childhood experience of feeling the sensual mood of Kabukicho in Shinjuku in the 1980s, and perceiving it as fluorescent hues. In this series of works, we can find his iconic ghost-like little characters daily life scenes which are full of love and fun.
