Maison Ozmen is pleased to present Azusa Nozawa’s solo show entitled Nippon Pastel at its Parisian gallery space from 25th March to 2nd April 2023. We are proudly presenting our collectors with 13 incredible acrylic paintings by the artist.
Azusa Nozawa draws and composes a dozing girl in a spectrum of pastels. The artist traces within her childhood memories and drawing hands which are moved in a prayer-like motion into the canvas. The figure drawn by Nozawa’s reminds us of the face of Christ on the cloth held by Saint Veronica. Saint Veronica watched over Christ, who carried the cross and climbed the hill of Golgotha to atone for the sins of all mankind.
For this solo show, Maison Ozmen has the opportunity to bring Nozawa’s iconic cubed-form canvases and large-scale canvases to have a dynamic presentation of the delicate and detailed art world by the artist. We really recommande our collectors to step into the gallery and discover those amazing brushstrokes in person.
