Maison Ozmen is thrilled to present Dami Kim’s first solo show at the gallery, entitled “Bacchanalian Revelry”. During the exhibition, 10 amazing new works of Dami will be presented in our Parisian gallery space from April 5th to 15th. Dami Kim creates work infused with the myths, symbolism, and allegory of both the East and West. As a Korean-American artist born in Los Angeles, her work reflects the diverse range of experiences that have shaped her life.
Through her art, she aims to provoke thought and inspire reflection, inviting viewers to consider their own experiences and perspectives by transforming the familiar into abstraction and distortion. Her creative process is largely intuitive, driven by a desire to capture the essence of emotions and sensations.
Ultimately, her goal as an artist is to create works that speak to the universal human condition. She seeks to offer a perspective on what it means to live in the modern world by distilling not only her personal past, but the collective past.
