Founded in 2020, Maison Ozmen is a young contemporary art gallery who aims to discover emerging artists from all over the world, bringing the most exciting and talented works from the emerging art scene to its visitors in Paris. The gallery has specialised in Asian contemporary art since its foundation and has held exhibitions for more than 30 Asian talents in Paris.
Before the opening of its definitive gallery space at Paris 8e, the gallery has successfully organised 4 on-line shows in 2021 and 6 pop-up physical shows in different Parisian spaces throughout 2022. Maison Ozmen had the chance to work with some of the most remarkable young Asian artists such as Vivi Cho (Korean), Jade Kim (Korean), Lotta (Japanese), Nksin (Japanese), Pucky (Hong Kong) despite its young age.
In October 2022, the gallery’s definitive space officially opened its door to the public in Paris. Now Maison Ozmen is located at 12 Rue Boétie at 8e district of Paris, neighbouring many great galleries and art institutions. The new space of Maison Ozmen is a hidden gem in a Haussmann style French building with 3.5-meter-tall walls and the iconic octagonal glass dome. The large volume of the space gives great freedom to the gallery to hold exhibitions with no limit of size or medium.
After two year’s concentration to Asian emerging art scene, Maison Ozmen will expand its art map to artists of more origins in the coming years. By organising shows and connecting local collectors in Paris, Maison Ozmen devoted itself to give opportunities to young artists worldwide to be shown in France and to be known by more European audience.
